NOTES ON E85 AND METHANOL:
Any alcohol based fuel will leave residue inside the fuel injectors which can cause injector flow rate and flow pattern changes. The longer the engine is left to sit without being run, the more likely it is that these changes will occur.
We recommend 2 different injector cleaning cycles for engines running alcohol based fuels:
- Infrequent Use - usually racing applications where the vehicle is left sitting for long periods without being run.
- Recommendation - Injector Clean Every 6 Months.
- Frequent Use - usually daily driven applicaitons where engines are run at least once per week.
- Recommendation - Injector Clean Every 12 Months.
- Excludes Side Feed and Hosetail Type Injectors.
- Injectors must be not have any broken or damaged parts.
- Any extra repairs for parts will be quoted before work commences.
